Gabby's Law was formed to create awareness to the dangers children face at their school bus stops. Twice a day, every day, during the school year. When talking about SCHOOL BUS STOP SAFETY, we instantly think of the bus stopped with lights flashing, stop arm extended, and a car going around it. Between 2000 and 2010, thirty children were killed at their school bus stops in Florida. Almost all were killed while the bus wasn't there, and all were preventable.We are working to end these senseless deaths at school bus stops by: - Educating motorist of when to stop for a school bus and being aware of school zones, bus stops, and residential areas. - Work with School District and County officials to identify and correct unsafe school bus stop locations.
- Encourage parents and guardians of school aged children to become more pro-active in school and school board functions such as PTA and School Board meetings.

Through the support and encouragement of our friends and community, Gabby's Law has grown into a not-for-profit organization. On August 22, 2011 we incorporated as a not for profit corporation. In the near future we hope to begin further assisting our community by offering services for the disadvantaged and needy. Please check back with us later as we update our Community Page.
